March 2018 Update

As the end of the first Quarter draws to a close, we enter the best 6 month period to visit Lombok with 31 rooms or 11 Villas now in operation and another set to complete next month, completed spa and an evolving Restaurant menu at our clubhouse, Aura Bar & Lounge which now offers even more locally sourced organic goodness such as Fresh Comb Honey, bee pollen, local grown RInjani coffee, artisan produce cheeses and cocoa beans.

Across the group increasing scale is the name of the game. As we begin the transition towards solar power we are adding to our infrastructure to ensure efficient energy and water strategies are in place.  We have purchased a large dump truck (which the construction boys are very excited about!) and additional staff have come on board including experienced in-house architect and additional senior management hires.

Excitingly, we have been working hard on finalising a new one bedroom luxury villa product with pool that will be perfect for weekend getaways and those looking for assured 8% yield. Watch this space! Or to enquire now email: sales@selongselo.com.

We wish you all a happy and safe Easter break.

This month we are showcasing one of our latest villas to come on line for rental - the beautiful villa 3D. With 4 spacious bedrooms, a 20 metre pool, and media room, split over 3 levels with incredible views, this amazingly positioned villa is an architectural gem.  We envy it's lucky owner!

VILLA PEMBURU

Built into the hillside with jaw-dropping 180 degree views of Selong Belanak, Villa Pemburu gives the impression of floating among the clouds.  Enter via the uppermost level to a bright covered alfresco seating and dining area with outdoor kitchenette - the perfect location for sunset drinks or a relaxed breakfast.

Bright, spacious interiors with luxury furnishings adorn the open plan main living, dining and kitchen area, leading onto a wide deck with sun beds and beautiful suspended tropical infinity pool.

Floor to ceiling windows feature in every room, flooding the villa with light and showcasing the spectacular views. The master bedroom is located on the 3rd floor, offering a private sanctuary to escape to.  There is a kids bunk room that sleeps 4, a dedicated media room, and on the lowest level another 2 bedrooms with views of the bay.

VILLA & RESORT MANAGEMENT >
In addition to last months introductions of Ifan (Reservations Manager) & Mayple Yap (CFO) we are excited to the announce the arrival of our new group General Manager, Raymond Saja. With his decades of experience globally we are confident he will continue to refine our offering to match the standards of the best luxury island resorts in Asia.
RAYMOND SAJA
General Manager

Raymond started his career as a chef working in some of the best-known restaurants in New York City. Since then, he has had over fifteen years of executive level experience in luxury properties across Asia, Europe and the USA. He spent over 12 years with the Karma Group, including GM at Bali’s Karma Kandara.
Most recently Raymond has been on assignment with the Wyndham Grand in Phuket, the first of its brand in South East Asia. Impressively he helped open and witness a 70% occupancy rate and GOP in the high 30’s. In the last 3 months GOP had increased to an average of approximately 45%. We hope he can replicate this success.

SERANGAN INDAH >
Infrastructure has commenced....
The first phase of construction is now underway within the Serangan Indah Estate. Earthworks have started on the main estate roads and crossroads drainage. This first phase consisting of the road and drainage is expected to take between 5 to 6 months dependant on weather.
Owners are now able to monitor the process with updates and images uploaded to our online building portal – Builder Trend.
We are excited by the commencement of the infrastructure as we expect a further re-rate of the underlying land for our investors as we witnessed at Selong Selo Residences.
